My shiba is 5 years old and she is 17lbs. She is a runt though. they are usually between 15-25lbs.

Oh yeah. they shed like mad! and it's especially tough in Calgary with the damn chinooks. They are suppose to shed big time twice a year, but with my dog, it's only like 4 out of the 12 months where she doesn't shed!
