OK, so I'm drowning in papers, one of which is already late. I'm going to need a cornea transplant, my eyesight blows. I just asked a girl out only to find out she has a boyfriend already.
I am not a happy camper at the moment.
So I started this simple thread. List something that brings happiness to you.
I'll start:
A good meal with family. The conversation is joyful, the food delicious and usually there's at least one dog running around in the house. That's pure happiness to me!
I hope you all can give this thread a read, and feel a little happier yourselves!

Getting to see my little nephews and Godson. I don't see them nearly as much as I'd like, and they are growing up quickly, so anytime I get to see them and for like a couple days before and after, I am pretty giddy.
The first snow fall of the year, I love going out late at night or early morning with my dog when it's nice and quiet. It's quite peaceful and nice.
At the moment it's watching the Ducks and seeing Monty. The fact that it's getting chilly enough at night to need a sweater (it's Florida) When I feel like crap and my cat jumps onto my lap and purrs. Knowing I'm going to see Panthers vs Sens with some wonderful Canadian friends tomorrow night
Location: A simple man leading a complicated life....
Exp:
Spending time with my brother who lives Stateside. Between fishing for walleye on lake Mille Lacs, golfing, and water skiing i just wish we lived closer. Family is huge in my life and i enjoy any all family gatherings.
Finding a book that I thought would be so-so but that turns out to be excellent.
The smell of my grandma's baking - she hasn't done any in years and years but the memory still makes me smile. (And wish I had some of her pinwheel cookies...lol)
Seeing my family's dog (and the family I guess...)
1. The sound of my wifes voice when we first talk in the morning. (she leaves for work before I get up, we talk on the phone everyday after I get to work)
Actually it's the tone of her voice, she seems really happy to hear from me.
2. When my kids scream at the top of their lungs "DADDYS HOME!!"
Watching a whole Sens game (instead of missing the first few minutes or the first period, because of work) and being able to pig out on Nachos or other fun snacks while watching, preferably a game they win or failing that, actually play hard.
Seeing my mom finally happily remarried to a decent guy, instead of upset over her marriage to my dad.
Finally getting along with my oldest brother and being able to go to a bar with him and just shoot the breeze.
Walking along the Canal in Ottawa, it's just so pretty all the time, winter or summer.
