Probably Black Diamond or Turner Valley, but it also depends on where you live in the city

No, your not wrong. Any small town outside of Calgary (excluding Okotoks, Cochrane and Airdrie) will have them. They do have them in Turner Valley for sure, we buy them each time we go out there. Blackdiamond does too. Water Valley General Store has them from time to time but I can personally guarantee Turner Valley has them.

^^^ Ya we usually get them at Black Diamond. I just inquired about Balzac because its a small town and it would be easier to get to, but ive never actually stopped when going through Balzac so im not sure if they have any

Okay, cause I called a fireworks place and they said I need a permit, so do they sell them at the store or no?

You can get them at the tiny town of Carbon or Sundre, both without a permit.

There's a gas station/ general store as you enter the Reserve heading east on 22X- probably 15 or 20 minutes east of Deerfoot.
Haven't seen their selection, but they have a big sign that says "FIREWORKS!"

Beware - the grass has gone dormant so it is really dry out there right now.
Fireworks, + really dry + wind = BAD idea

I think you need a permit to buy them and/or set them off within city limits.

Because of the morons that set them off at 3 AM downtown every weekend near my place. Although I guess if it was legal to pick people off with a sniper rifle from my balcony, I would be all in favour of lifting the ban so all the idiots could be culled efficiently.
