Excel Spreadsheet Help!

So A9 contains "=4" as shown. When I manually type "=A9+1" in the cell below, the formula works properly.

Also works correctly when I manually type "=A10+1" in cell A11.

But when I hover my mouse over the lower right corner of cell A11 to drag the formula down to cell A12, I get "6" as shown... If I click on cell A12 after I've dragged the formula down, it correctly displays "=A11+1" as the contents, but clearly, the result is wrong.

What's going on?

does a12 work ok if you just copy and paste the formula down?

also is autocalc on? Press F9 if a12 fixes itself you need to turn on your autocalc in the options menu.

Thanks man! I had to check the "Automatic except tables" radio in the Options menu!

usually you can tell if your autocalc is not on, as you will have 'calc' noted at the bottom of the screen. The reason for that option is if you have like 100,000 formulas or something, every little edit could take 10 minutes to complete.
