Anyone know if any places have received FIFA 09 yet? EB games, Wal Mart and Future Shop (at least the ones around my place) all said they don't have it yet. I'm actually looking for the PS2 version, not sure if that makes a difference.

To answer my own question, EB Games in Deerfoot Meadows got the PS2 version today, but only the PS2 version. WOO!

The PS2 market is far far larger than the current PS3 market (or xbox 360, Wii). To not make a PS2 version is like cutting your leg off just before a marathon and wondering why you didn't win.

Yup, and it is retooled this year, not just a roster update. I haven't bought a PS3 yet because I am waiting to see how 09 is. If it is decent I will probably just keep the PS2 for another 6 months or so before upgrading. Out of all the games I have I play FIFA probably 95% of the time anyway.

One of the reasons they continue to retool FIFA is because PS2 is still pretty big in Britain.
