T & T Supermarket at 999 36th St. N.E - it's a NE address, but geographically, it is kinda centrally located on the east side
They have several chinese and sushi dishes to go

Swiss Chalet.
Surprisingly, Safeway and Co-op make some kickass lunches. Safeway's fresh made sandwhiches generally blow anything Subway does away, while they also have a soup counter and limited other food. I love going to Co-op for perogies, chicken strips and other things. Some healthy, some not so much.

+2. We've had them supply food for some of our meetings. Very tasty.
Edit: "Them" being the Main Dish.

Nikki, I'm glad you made this thread, as I have been looking for ideas too.
Oh Nikki, you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind, hey Nikki, hey Nikki
I checked out the Sweetwater Market today - took away some nice meals, fresh and frozen. Looks real new, and I think they are looking for more tenants. NW of Bow Trail on 85th St SW.

Yeah most of the Sobey's stock some pretty good ready meals. Pasta's are generally pretty good, the meat loaf is very good and even the ham/scallop potatoes are good.

Frozen meals at Headless Chef were about $10. Dishes from Touch Of India were big and around $12.

I have had many a soup and salad from here delivered to me monday mornings. Love it.
Also on Southland and Fairmont is a polish deli called POLCAN and in the back corner they have a freezer, in that freezer is frozen containers of "bigos" or hunter's stew... $4.50 a thing and a full meal... and so very yummy. I just tear off the styrophome container while its still frozen, throw it in a soup pot and and walk away. Really good meal in less than 20 minutes...
