Anyone know anything about photographing jewelry? I saw a lightbox for $400, but I'm wondering if anyone knows of a cheaper way to do it. If need be i'd rather buy a better camera than a lightbox.

With jewelry, it really is all about proper lighting setups. If you are going to do it more than a few times (as in doing it for money), get the proper setup.

Thanks. I want to market the jewelry on the web without too much expense and if all goes well hire someone else for the photos
