Default Know anything about this?

I've been getting several of these messages on various topics. I don't open spam, but I almost opened one beause it looked interesting. I didn't because of the potential for a virus. Is this stuff legit or just to be deleted without opening?

Those are all affilliate links- so the sender gets paid on people clicking on them.

And ironically you just encouraged a spammer by posting them on here.
(I'm just about to break the links.)

I got my answer and deleted much of the post to eliminate the links. Can you tell me if there is likely any risk to opening the links? I got a few of these on various topics. One was for free radio and it looked appealing but I didn't open it.

Don't click on spam.

Even if it isn't malicious, the person who set up the spam is getting paid for every person who clicks the link.

Don't click on spam.

By you clicking on them, you are promoting spam.

Don't click on spam.

Even if it is something you may be interested in.

Don't click on spam.

If you are interested, use a few of the key words, and search for the links yourself. It make take an extra 30 seconds effort, but you won't be promoting spam.

Don't click on spam.
Don't quote spam.
Don't reply to spam.
