I've been waiting for these damn double-re-runs to wrap up, though at least now I'm super-educated as to the state of the island and its inhabitants.
For some reason watching the shows (sans the first and third) was a lot more painful the second time. You could see the over-production, hokey drama, and complete lack of reality.
I can't wait to watch tonights!
I'll be here to chat about it in the obligatory thread.

I thought I saw a preview showing that it was a briefcase of some kind that belonged to the hot chick. Guess we'll find out in a couple of hours

Yup, the episode was pretty "meh" after being away from 3 weeks, but still good TV. Nice to see them actually show what Kate/Maggie/whatever actually did in the past. Also nice to see the middle aged black women speaking again, she hasn't done so in a long time.
Ya.. the preview for next week looked great.

They didn't show a preview for next week on the channel we were watching! Crap! This weeks show was pretty average, but that still makes it better than anything else on TV right now.

Yeah I wasn't hugely impressed with tonight's episode either. I must have missed the beginning, what was in the box they found at the end of the last episode? The maps and figures that were in French? I thought Said had snagged those from the French woman.
The plot of this thing moves at a snail's pace.

Just had a question for you guys. I love the show, think its really well done, but I find myself getting really tired of the lack of answers. Anyone else feel the same? Every episode is more and more questions with no real concrete answers. Its starting to wear on me and i don't want to give up on the show out of frustration. Am I being too impatient? Thoughts?

Doesn't bug me in the least. TV is too much about tieing things up in a nice neat little bow. There are a lot of unanswerd questions but I don't mind that at all. I like the fact that this show is trying hard to follow the basic formula of network TV.
