Programming my Universal Remote with no Manual

I'm having trouble programming my Shaw Digital Cable Box Remote to control my TV because I don't have the user guide for it. I'm hoping somebody here does. I found the online user guide but it didn't provide me with the instructions I need. I know what the possible codes are , I just don't know the sequence of keys to press to get to a point where I can enter the code.
The box I have is a Motorola DCT 2500. That is the SD, non PVR bottom of the barrell digital cable reciever. Can anybody provide me with some assistance?

I know I have pulled the manual from somewhere online before, so I could explain to my mom where a certain button was located on my remote.

I talked a TSR at shaw, she said if you can't figure it out from that page then you can call them and it is possible for them to talk you through it.

Shaw tends to have excellent customer service, unless you call them about complaining that you can't connect to the internet because you don't know how to turn on your computer.
