I do not watch many shows (aside from sports) on TV, but I will watch this one if I can. Helps that it seems to be on 3 different days a week.

Anyway, anyone see tonights episode?

I remember how the very first episode first season really hit hard right at the start. And that drew me in.

Well, they brought all that back and pretty much explained what and why everything happened that night. Interesting.

Seems like the audience may be the fairer sex who like the lead actors, but I was always suprised by the intense, sometimes downright frightening themes on prime time.

I probably saw all of season 1, but missed half of the next two. Can you rent these at a video store or do I have to shell out the coin to catch up?

I will have to check that out. You might also enjoy Fringe, which seems to have the same elements.

I might enjoy it, but I will not even look at it. No time.
After you take in Hockey, CFL, and some NFL and baseball; there really is no time left for TV in my life. Survivor I cannot resist, and I try to watch Supernatural. That's it.

When Firefly comes back, I will make an exception.

I love this show. We own season's 1 and 2, and have 3 recorded on the PVR... I haven't seen tonight episode yet. Usually watch the one at 10 o'clock.

As far as renting goes, I'm almost positive you would find them... I saw the 3rd season for rent at blockbuster earlier today, so I'm assuming all 3 seasons would be there.

Funny thing is, I first started watching Supernatural season 2 before I ever saw 1... and online. Yet they're so against people putting episodes of shows up on youtube. That got me hooked, while I understand 'their' stand point... more should be watchable online! Anyway, off topic.

Yeah, I started watching this one because of the lead actors, heck, even the guy that played their dad was kinda hot. Well, I also began watching because it's the type of show I like, paranormal/Supernatural type stuff. I LOVED X-Files back in the day.

...But the show is actually fairly decent and it's been getting better. I think in the beginning it did lean a bit more towards being a teenybopper type show, but they have definitely been getting much more dark. Tonights episode was, as the OP said, a good one in that it explained more about why they are hunters, and, without giving anything away for those not totally caught up, I actually like the angle of Gods angels this season. It's a good juxtaposition to all the evil they have been fighting in the past.
