CPO to play "Lord of the Rings"
I've got my tickets!!! I might even go as Gollum, I can impersonate his voice quite well, and for extended periods. I'm skinny enough too...

Journey into the realm of Middle Earth! Howard Shore’s unforgettable score is brought to life in this spectacular event featuring more than 200 musicians and singers accompanied by projections of the breathtaking illustrations and storyboards that made the film trilogy a box office hit and a cinematic masterpiece. Costumes welcome!

The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra often creates unique opportunities to combine music with pop culture, history and storytelling. Lord of the Rings Symphony Live is no exception.
Over 200 performers will accompany scenes from the Lord of the Rings movies, along with music performed by the CPO in a meshing of a blockbuster movie and the excitment of a live orchestra.
It's a delicious combination, as the music will be dramatic, along with the accompanying movie scenes.

I really want to go to this but I can't seem to rope any of my friends into it.

Just come anyway, in costume though. You'll find me in the back with Galadriel playing with my precious...

Well I sure don't know about you, but instead of taking turns we just play co-operatively.
