Leah Hextall - New SportsCentre Anchor?
How long has she been around? Never noticed her before..
What does everyone think?
She looks exactly like the punk rock girls I used to see back when I lived in Vancouver (in a more sophisticated wardrobe). She's also got a pretty monotone voice.
Is Jenn or Holly leaving?

Bout a month? She terrible on highlights.
I also thought she was quite young until I saw her on HD and she looked much older.

Useless without pics so...
Apparently, she's just filling in for a week, and they have had her in before. Her full-time job is with CTV Winnipeg. And she's Ron Hextall's cousin! Other anchors better watch the backs of their ankles.
Jennifer Hedger is the best!
Youtube thinks my link is unsafe for minors, but the "members of the community" who flagged it as such are obviously prudes. It's PG-14.

yeah, HD has a tendency to make people look older and the women in particular less attractive...

She is BRUTAL!
I turn off Sportscentre when she is on and flip over to Connected. I don't know what it is but there is just something that annoys me about her.

On highlights she is just terrible. I don't know what it is about her voice....just makes me flip to the Score.

"Brutal" is a little harsh. I do find her hard to understand though. Not mumbly, but maybe she doesn't announciate properly? I think she was working in WPG. Not sure if she does the TSN thing when they need a pinch hitter or is she's on full time. I've noticed her and some other older dude filling in throughout the summer.

I see her alot on CKY News Winnipeg. I don't find her that bad but my mom thinks she's annoying.

Hedger wasn't anything when she first started, as I've watched her since she was on The Lofters. I don't think she would be where she is now, if it wasn't for a stop on "Off The Record", and spending time as Jay Onrait's right hand woman. She went from having a stick up her ass, to a saucy, slightly sarcastic personality.
If this is a full time gig for Hextall, give her some time. Some people don't make the jump to national as fast as others.

Where is Teresa Hergert these days?
She was one of my least favorite, as she seemed to stumble through her lines as much as Michael Phelps on SNL. Which was a lot.

She is probably the worst out of the new women sportscasters. Although I won't turn to another channel when she is on(still a million times better then Sportsnet), I have to turn up the volume on the tv. It's like she's not using a mic.
The worst women's sportcaster of all time has to be Tammy Christopher on CFCN. At first it was funny watching her make 3-4 mistakes per 5 minute telecast. After i just felt embarassed for her and stopped watching all together. Is she still on?
