Even though he didn't write it (Trent Reznor did) I still get massive chills running up and down my spine whenever I hear the Man in Black sing 'Hurt.'

In an interview with Trent Reznor when he helped Cash do a cover of Hurt, Reznor said afterwords that the song was no longer his. He said it with pure admiration and respect. It was a cool thing to hear.
Also, the Hurt video. It was the only time that at the end of a music video I started to tear up just a little. Great song, even better music video. [/b][/quote]
The thing that made me misty eyed about the "Hurt" video was that I didn't get to see it until after June Carter Cash passed away.
Her presence in the video accompanied by the haunting, droning piano parts and Johnny's nearly broken voice as he sang about being fallible, old and near the end was really powerful for me.
Johnny loved June Carter Cash so much that you just knew that he must have lived the few months after he death in so much emotional pain that he probably wanted to die so he could join her.
Johnny Cash was such a great man. So much talent, honesty and determination that if you don't love his music you can at least respect him as a person.
