Well considering the large amount of immagrants coming into Canada, I'm not surprised. Its not like its really important info to an immagrant coming over - as long as they are doing a good job at whatever they're doing, thats fine by me.

42% of Canadians probably realize how little relevance knowing this would affect their daily lives.

I think about half as many prez's as you've had. Harper is our 22nd. So even less than half I guess.

I can name all of the ones in my life time, and about 5 others. I'll admit Troutman's question stumped me, though I have a guess.

Yeah, we kinda just learn the 'important ones' too.

Going to guess that you are an immigrant?

In all seriousness though. I remember getting more American history crammed in my brain then Canadian.

Ha I don't even (permanently) live in Canada anymore (but no I was born and raised in Canada)

If someone were to ask me to name Canadian PM's... I know it started Sir John A MacDonald... many years... Pierre Trudeu... skip many years... Mulroney, Kim Campbell (lol), Chretien (sp?), Martin, Harper.

yeah, i know our first 10, everyone since 1900, and important ones like lincoln... but not so much on those mid 1800's guys!

but i am a pretty rare person to actually care. i think most americans are equally as clueless about our past.
