Hey all,
I am looking for a Live Sound Engineer to fill in for me on Saturday the 13th (this weekend). I have another gig with a friend's band that I would really like to do. Because true sound engineers don't really work for the pay I'd be offering, I am willing to take almost anyone who isn't a total muppet. Just have some music, production, or theatre background and all is well.
Its a very easy gig, as I will be setting up and sound-checking for you, so all you have to do is:
- Babysit the board. Move the occasional fader up or down.
- Operate the lights and smoke. Very self-explanatory and straightforward (I'll show you).
- Make sure that the board is muted between sets.
- Make sure the CD or DJ are playing at a good volume between sets.
You don't even have to tear down, as I will do it the next day. This means you are walking out of the venue between 1:00am to 1:30am at the latest.
PM me if you're interested and I'll let you know privately how bad the pay is.
