Yeah, and to put his team over cap right now...but he's a Flames prospect. I would have liked to keep him on my team in the AHL...but in reality he's a longshot to make the NHL in the next two seasons, which puts him 3 from the CPHL.

I was quite hungover yesterday when I decided to claim Greentree. I felt kinda bad doin it, but when I watched the kid play at the Flames prospect camp, I thought he looked really good. It could come back and bite me in the ass and it does put me over the cap for right now, but I just went with my hunch.
I'm also gambling a bit that Geoff Sanderson is going to retire, which should open up a bunch of salary space....we'll see if that actually happens.
