All Metallica, All the time!!!

I peed my pants this morning!!!

I was sitting Calgary traffic this morning (surprise) chanel surfing through my XM radio stations and I come across a Metallica song. Sweet! I listen to the song and then get ready to change the chanel and then Lars comes on and says "You're listening to Mandatory Metallica. Your Metallica station on XM radio."

I think the person in the car beside me thought I escaped from the mental ward at the hospital because for the next 20 minutes (there was an accident on 14th and Southland this morning) I was bashing my head, slapping the wheel and screaming along with words.... IT WAS THE BEST DRIVE TO WORK, EVER!!!

(sorry if you don't like Metallica and can't get excited for this as much as I can... )

Awesome...at first I didn't realize it was them,then I thought jeez it HAS to be! They sound so young fresh and energetic just like the early days...but better.

I'm trying to think when the last time I saw someone get excited about Metallica, probably around 1988.

I already own Kill 'Em All to the Black album, that's pretty much mandatory. Anything after that you can take or leave.

I was wonering if Sirius was going to do something like this. I mean they have a Gratefull Dead station. Why not Metallica? With the merger maybe us Sirius subscribers will get the Metallica station eventually.

I say leave, even the Black album is questionable to me as it is the beginning of thier decline in my eyes.

Yeah it only started on the 16th, the Coldplay run ended on the 15th.

Great listing to be sure, some of the interviews with other bands is cool. Rob Helford (Judas Priest) said the same thing as me, he is a true fan up to Justice.

Kirk also said that for the new album he is finally going to put guitar solos back into songs, he said he feels he has not done a good one since the mid 90's.
