I suspect that's prior to a backstroke, where they all jump into the pool and then return to the wall to start.

I have to say, I really like the new design of the Olympic logo. It has a little... something extra... this year.

Can't quite place what it is though. Hmmm... gimme a few more minutes to stare at it. It'll come to me.

I think they jump in the water to get wet and warmed up and all that. If that was a Canadian swimmer, I might think that's how he started a race, but...

Great pictures. I can't disagree with the theme of "feature a lot of shots of fit women in bikinis" theme on the page. I didn't need to see the arm of that poor weightlifter though.
