Python kills man, tries to eat him
Quote:
A three-metre-long Burmese Python killed a student zookeeper in Caracas last weekend and was caught trying to swallow its dead human prey when horrified coworkers arrived, Venezuela's El Universal newspaper reported Monday.
The other employees of the Caracas zoo had to beat the serpent to make it release the body of 29-year-old Erick Arrieta, whose head it was swallowing.

So he was told not to enter the cage because it would be dangerous and he could die, and he decided to anyway. But he waited till nobody was around so he wouldn't get caught.
Natural selection. Nature selected not to keep this guy's genes in the pool.

Unfortunate accident, but it wouldn't have happened if he would have just followed a very simple rule. Hopefully the snake is ok.

PETER
hugging toaster
Oh! Oh, oh baby, oh, you're my number one Christmas boutique gift item!
WINSTON
Right, and the first time somebody gets mad the toaster could eat their hand.
PETER
No, no, no, no, we put a warning label on it, we don't have any liability- aggh! Ow! Oh!
EGON gets the toaster off his hand
Oh! Oh, did you ever go for it. The old man-eating-toaster gig!

"The young man underestimated the animal's instinct," said the director general of the Parque del Este zoo, Javier Hernandez.
Understatement of the year anyone? Holy crap that article made me laugh. Seriously, what was that guy thinking? Did the snake look lonely and he thought he'd give it a hug?

You missed a golden opportunity here. What should have been said is "I hold a huge python everytime I urinate"

I don't buy it. I'll bet dollars to donuts this is false or the guy was killed before he went in.
A three meter burmese python is:
a) really small/young for burmese pythons
b) not that difficult to handle
You find bigger snakes than that all over the place and they are not maneaters.
