"Angry Scot" faces child porn charges
I guess you won't be seeing the Angry Scot in Alexander Keith beer commercials anymore . . . .

Yeah, I hear you. Funny at first, then pathetic, then to the point of making me want to shut off the TV.
I also agree with the sentiment that he'll get his true punishment in jail, but I have a feeling that he won't see the inside of prison.

Man, I LOVE those commercials. They never fail to crack me up. I'll miss them for sure.
The message remains the same for me-Keith's is too valuable a liquid to spill a drop of.

We found out yesterday afternoon what was going to happen. That was a fun conference call.
I've actually met the guy and man, when they say you never know who is capable of doing this kind of stuff, they are totally right. Nicest, funniest guy in the world. Bizarre.

Some of them were pretty funny, but like any commercial, when they're overplayed they can wear on you in a hurry.

Me, too. Thank you, internet. You have shown me more than I ever wanted to know about things/activities that I never knew existed.

Alright, no more references to gross content, that's NOT something we want on these forums.

I liked the one where 'the tap runs dry' that one was good, but for the most part I hated those commercials. And they just kept coming...
Pretty bad stuff, don't know what else to say.

A Toronto actor best known for his role as a loud, beer-loving Scotsman in Alexander Keith's television commercials has been sentenced to 20 months in prison on child porn charges.
Former Keith's pitchman Robert Smith -- known for his catchphrases such as "Mr. Spilly Pants" and "label peeler" -- was sentenced in a Toronto court yesterday.
