I had him a long time ago for the same class... pretty laid back lectures, tells stories and summarizes points from the textbook. Decent prof for sure and can speak english just fine.

Fell asleep during our group presentations too. I'm pretty sure everyone got a decent mark as a result...

Try Althouse as well, you gotta pay attention in his class, as he will pick on ppl, but you will learn too.

Ah, good ol' Barry. I had him for BSEN291 in '02. He's a fine teacher. Not the best, not the worst, just a teacher that expects you to get things done and for all intents and purposes, his classes are very straightforward.

the thing about it is i had to choose between them and the class with barry worked out better for me in my schedual. if he was awful i wouldve gone with althouse (who most people tell me is better, but if barry isnt bad either i dont really care).

I had Althouse, I'd take Barry if I had the choice. The thing you have to remember is Althouse wrote this class and its what he primarily teaches, so he takes it very seriously while Barry is more laid back.

that also gives one an advantage, as Althouse will teach you what you need to know wheres the laid back prof is laid back.

Fair enough, but I didnt find MGST 291 all that important, its just a pre-req. So the guy who wrote it sometimes has an inflated view of his class' importance in the grand scheme of a degree.

Just do what you have to and GTFO has been my view of University for some time, but then again I've been there way too long.

Dont ask. But I might try and set up a U of C CP Den meet sometime in early September. Seems like lots of us around.

At the moment I've only got a few classes left and if the planets align correctly this could be my last semester, but I wouldnt count on it.

Yeah, I'm going camping for softball this weekend. I'm not setting foot on University campus until I absolutely have to.

Lifers of the world unite! I started right out of high school thinking I'd be done in 5 years max. Then I added a minor, that bumped it up a year. Then I added another minor, which bumped it up another year. I'm 22, will be in for another 2 years. I hope.

Had Barry when he started in 2001...took it as my last class...it's an easy A if you do the work and show up

as someone mentioned before, talks alot about industry and his experience

overall pretty easy class
