Default Where to buy a Keg?

I'll be throwing a keg party on the weekend, and was wondering if anyone has suggested places I could get one (NW is preferred). Also, the party will be Saturday, so I will need a place that can bring it in in a couple of days, or have it in stock.

Some places I looked into:
Crowfoot Liquor Store: $230+ for a decent beer
Wildwood: $205
Brewsters: $200

I thought these things were cheaper (~160ish)....

Thanks,

No, seriously.

EDIT: This is weird as I'm also having a kegger on Saturday.

Thanks,
now - is that for just the beer or does that include the deposit on the keg and pump which you'll get back once you return them?

Just for the beer. I don't really care how much the deposit is.

I just bought one from Crowfoot liquor store last weekend.
The nice thing is that they tend to have a few on hand.
For example when I went in they had 24 kegs of Keiths ready to go.

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of beer did you get, and what did it cost?

My brother told me he got a keg of Keiths there for $175 (two months ago), and they told me it cost $250.

I got keiths and yeah it was around $250.
Man, I've been buying a keg or two a year for the last 4 or 5 years and the last time I got a keg for $175 was a long time ago.

For $175 it sounds like it might have been a pony keg?

I'll second that.

Plus if you are short on time they have kegs you can pick up without phoning a couple days ahead. They aren't cold though. But if that crappy liqour store by IGA in Deer Run happens to forget to order your keg, it's better than nothing.

A few more suggestions here:
http://forum.calgarypuck.com/showthr...ghlight=keg%2A

(When doing a search for a 3 letter word like 'keg', you should search for 'keg*' )

That's one good thing about crowfoot, is that they have cold ones on hand.

I always buy from the beer store near the Ceicil as well. Best prices there, I find.

You guys are more than welcome to come on Saturday. PM me for the address if you want. As for Sunday, I do have prior committments for the afternoon so I might not be there.

Sounds like we should schedule the CP central vs SW slo-pitch game for this Sunday morning.
