Default Pilot to parents, "You forgot your kid...."

Parents leave 3 year old child behind as they board plane to Paris. Of all the incomprehensible things to do. This is not like they were shopping at the Supermarket and then looked up to see their kid is not at their side.

Ooops...

They have 5 kids. They took 4 onto the plane. 80% is pretty good.

What? Are you perfect?

I can just hear the parents now.....

How could we do this? We forgot him.

We didn't forget him. We just miscounted.

What kind of a mother am I?

If it makes you feel any better, I forgot my reading glasses.

Definitely not as severe, but when I was younger (probably 5 or 6) I went out to dinner with a friend and his family and they forgot us there.
What happened was that after dinner my friend and I went to use the restroom. I think the mom did aswell. The Dad took off assuming that we were going to go with the Mom, and the Mom left assuming that we already left with the Dad.
Obviously this was before cell phones were popular, so it took a while to get a hold of the parents to come back and get us.
It was pretty cool, I remember getting to watch movies and eating free deserts.

Bah. If you had 5 kids you'd leave one of them anywhere given half a chance.
