Default Looking for Little Speakers

So I'm looking to set my house up with some speakers (just 2 actually). My current goal is to have my computer set up in the basement with an airport express upstairs with two small speakers plugged into it for general music listening (casual get-togethers, light parties, background music for cooking etc). I'm not really looking into having an amp as i'm trying to keep the clutter to a minimum. As the airport express has a 3.5 mm minijack for an audio input, my current search has lead me to computer/multimedia speakers.

The set I'm looking at currently is the Bose Companion 3 System retailing for around $300. I know Bose has a rather negative reputation among audiophiles for putting more money into marketing than it's actual equipment, so I thought I'd ask if anybody has any other recommendations? Personally every bose speaker I've ever heard has sounded fine and I'd have no problem going with this set-up, I'm just curious.

A couple points:
- I know there are similar wireless speaker products out there, but as I said I'm trying to minimize clutter so I'm just looking for 2 speakers
- In this instance, size matters. I'm looking to keep the speakers relatively hidden (behing a plant or something) which is why the small size of the Bose system interests me

Any help that could be offered would be greatly appreciated!

Ok, no bites. I'll ask a more specific question:

Anybody know where I can get some Harmon Kardon Soundstick II's for under $175? In the states they seem to be everywhere for around $100, but up here I can only find one place that sells them (UofC micro store) and they're almost twice as much.
