Default WTB: Good reliable car

Looking to purchase a good car for around 4000-7000. Wondering if anyone can recommend a good car dealership or private sale. I'm in the japanese car boat, but anything reliable and with decent km's will be considered of course.

Thanks!

i have a 2001 Jetta for sale with 98,000 km. Fully loaded except for it has cloth seats and a 5spd.

Asking 10,400. A little out of your range, but thought I would float it anyhow!

I have been meaning to put my 1989 Suzuki Swift GTi up for sale, but have yet to get around to it.

Red exterior / Grey Interior. 115,000 Original Kms, and the drivetrains on these cars last forever. No Rust Whatsoever; it was a Vancouver car until I bought it 4 years ago and I havent driven it in winter. It has a few mechanical upgrades and has been well maintained. The best part? It gets 45 mpg and is still fairly fast.

I will be looking for around $5000.

I know it is older ... but it is at a technology point where a mechanically inclined person can do all the repairs themselves as they come along. With the great mileage, and easy repairability, there really isnt a cheaper way to drive.

I have a 2000 Ford Escort ZX2 with about 92000 km that I was planning to put on the market in the 3rd or 4th week of August, was planning on asking around $5K for it. Not Japanese, but I've had 0 trouble with it.

I'm selling my 2002 Hyundai Elantra GT.

It's been a great car and I've replaced the bearings and all four tires. It has 126000 km on it, 5 speed manual tranny. Leather interior and sunroof. I'd like $8500 for it, but I'm open to offers!

I've got a silver 2000 Chevy Cavalier. 155000 KMs, automatic, 4 dr, air conditioning, power locks, remote entry...runs really well. I still get great gas mileage out of it (600km/tank in the summer). Got brand new michelin tires last September and brand new brakes in July of last year. Has a few rock chips in the windshield. They were 'repaired' so they shouldn't spread but they are visible.

It's a great car...hasn't let me down once and the best thing about it is that it's cheap to fix if something goes wrong because it's a fairly common car.

Hoping to get $4000 but willing to accept any offers.
