Leaked Tron 2 Movie Footage

Gizmodo has a video showing some covert filming* of a portion of Tron 2, featuring some light cycle racing.




*I'm assuming that if the studio has a problem with this, lawyers will cause Gizmodo to yank the footage, so as the link doesn't go directly to the video it will be innocuous in any event.

Disney showed this at San Diego Comic-Con last week as a surprise at the end of a session regarding a new "Witch Mountain" movie they're doing (does anyone under 30 even remember the Witch Mountain movies?). Apparently, the scenes with Bridges were filmed in secret with a tiny crew so no one would know they were working on it.

As it stands, this is considered more a proof-of-concept than a trailer. Obviously, Disney liked it well enough to give it the green light.
