Default Cyclist Killed On Lower Springbank

I work and live out here. And a cement truck hit a cyclist. Needless to say the cyclist did not survive and the cement truck flipped over in the middle of the road. I dont know the status of the driver, but Im sure you'll hear about it in tomorrows paper

Unbelievable... there are so many cyclists in that area, and I'm fairly certain this isn't the first one to die. They need some massive speed bumps out there to force people to actually stop at the stop signs.

Or some massive shoulders so the cyclists werent pretty much riding on the road

I could have sworn I heard 'motorcycle'. It's been on the news updates all day on QR. Maybe I wasn't paying attention?

Just saw the story on the news. Indeed it was a motorcycle. Early speculation by RCMP (according to Global News) is that the motorcycle was trying to pass on a hill. If that is the case, I'm very disappointed with the poor decision-making by the biker. The cement truck driver swerved to avoid hitting him, but hit him anyway and rolled his truck to boot.
