I would like to thank all my fellow K-Country hikers and lovers of the great outdoors!
During a 13 KM hike today, with almost 1,000 feet in elevation I came across one tiny piece of garbage.
That garbage was a lone pink jelly bean.
It's the little things like this, that puts a smile back on my face... Even more, showing me that humanity isn't lost... Sure there has been times when trails are littered with crap, which is why I always bring an extra garbage bag or two.
Let's continue to keep Kananaskis and all of Alberta green and clean.

Attention Kananaskis Hikers...
There was a warden there that was well aware of these bears and had two dog's chase them away....I for one was thinking about hiking elsewhere but most of my group wanted to carry on. Anyways it was a great day to hike and as you say it is nice to see such clean trails! Lot's of people out today and no garbage to be found!
