Default The Dark Knight [NO SPOILER THREAD]

Just got home from the screening.

WOW. WOW. OMG. OMG.

Heath Ledger just won performance of the year.

Didn't like how they handled Harvey Dent....thought it was a bit forced, but Ledger's work was simply brilliant.

Christian Bale was fantastic again, but I can't get over how good Heath Ledger played this role. The Joke was really really a good character. Very dark, funny when he had to be, loved the one liners.....

Wow.

HolyF!!!!!!! this was one of the best movies i have ever seen.

It was sooo sad watching Heath Ledger in every scene, knowing that we will never see another performance like that. I would be shocked if he didn't win the oscar.

It was so intense that it was like a sweathouse in the theatre by the end. I'm still flipping sweating now.

After Friday can you rename the thread to SPOILERS?

What of Maggie Gyllenhal replacing Katie Holmes?

Same here. Movie crowds already irritate me to no end, so I think I will wait for all the loudmouths to see it and then go.

is it just me, or does Empire Theatres not have an option to purchase tickets online for their IMAX theatres? Am I just not seeing it? Are they in a different part?

I want to buy tickets online for two theatres, the Sydney one is having "technical difficulties" and the Halifax IMAX isn't listed

I'm not sure if everyone was on edge but it was dead silent at the preview showing last nite and it was a packed house. I didn't realize that until your posting. Also, this movie is not really for kids so that would cut out some of the talking. Can't believe it is only rated PG13.

Also i think this is the first movie where i never turned my head to look around. It was like I was sitting at home watching the movie by myself.

They had the metal detectors going last nite. Poor camcorder guys. hehe

Not a lot of cam rips out there yet.....probably going to be more tonight.

Why anyone would watch such a quality version of a what looks to be awesome movie is beyond me.

Basically all I want to say is that I gave this movie every chance to impress me, I even pretended I didn't know anything about Batman going in.

It was decent as a movie, compared to the comics it was terrible.
