I have to rant.

To some of the women out there...

If you are in a lineup to pay for something, please have your form of payment out ahead of time. Especially if you had to wait for 5-10 minutes. If you need to wait until you are at the cashier so you can place your massive bag on the counter so you can start digging for your card, then you are carrying too much stuff.

There are times to reorganize your bag from your invasive search... and immediately after you pay is not that time.

There are times for you to balance your chequebook... immediately after getting the receipt is not that time.

I've lost count how many times I've waited in line, only to be delayed further while a woman decides to do something that could otherwise be done at a later time. Also causing the cashier to stop and wait for her to remove the stuff from the counter. GET ON WITH IT!

If you can't fit all your crap in your pockets you have too much stuff.

And no women, not having pockets is not an excuse. Nor is it the signal that I will carry all your damn crap if you do not have a bag.

I've seen guys with the same issue, although perhaps not as pronounced - it's like they get to the till and think, "Wait, I have to PAY for this stuff? I thought someone would just wave me through!"

HA! Womens' bags are full of stuff that needs to be dragged around, but their husbands/boyfriends don't have enough room in their pockets, or stuff their kids will lose.

True. At least it's somewhat excusable. Not being prepared however... there's no excuse for that.

Not a problem any more, thanks to the new rules, but the old people (it was always old people) who hand c-store clerks 100 lottery tickets to check always pissed me off.

But I do agree with the OP. I get the need for woment to carry a purse, especially when wearing a skirt, but really, you don't need to put your entire life in there.

I really hate it when people in line talk on their cell.

Actually, I hate it when anyone talks on their cell in a (non-emergency) situation when everyone can hear and are unable to get away (store line, bus/train, restaurant...).

Like I care that little Suzy just crapped herself and Daimen just put the hamster in the microwave.

All of those men complaining baout women with large purses... I hope you never ask a chick for a tissue or a pen. Cause I know you don't have a pen in your pocket, and I know you don't have a tissue there either. Stuff it. I like my purse.

However, I also have a wallet in my purse so I'm fairly quick too.

I keep everything that I need in my wallet.

Cash, Credit card, bank card, Drivers license, condom.

If I need a pen then the person that wants me to sign something better darn well have one.
