Big Dog - or wounded fly?

I don't quite know what to think about this. The noise sounds like a giant wounded fly and it doesn't look like a dog at all. They could have called it Big Quadroped, but didn't.

I'll admit that when I saw this my first thoughts - after thinking about bees or flies - was about the Terminator Franchise and robots taking over the planet.
