Id rate that Janet superbowl thing #1...I mean, that has forever changed the world of entertainment. I never wanted to just tell people to shut up more than the FCC and all the so called 'goodie-good's' that basically threw a child like temper tantrum over that. Okay, it was uncalled for and obviously a pubplicitiy stunt for her new album..but I mean, because of that we have to deal with the T.O. MNF incident and all the other crap the FCC says is 'wrong' for us to see and hear. I mean give me a break. The world isnt G-rated..therefore we shouldnt be baby-fied. Just my 2 cents..

'Political Correctness' is not on this particular list but is definitely number 1 on my list, especially during any holiday that might have the slightest link to any religion of any sort. What the hell is Christmas supposed to be called nowadays? Winter Festival or something? Putting up a damn Christmas tree and saying 'merry christmas' is like raising a Nazi flag and uttering an ethnic slur. There are absolutely no ends to which some people will go just to make sure not one person feels even a tiny bit offended.

I think this is more of an issue in Canada though, so that's probably why it didn't make this particular list. Although, perhaps it kind of ties into the FCC one. Regardless, it's definitely my number 1 annoying newsmaker of the year though...

What has Canada really done to be a newsmaker in the last year? Not that I'm insulted or anything, but I can't recall anything specifically that Canada did as a nation to be a big global newsmaker.
