The best part is that it uses the sideways Wiimote NES set-up. 2 buttons (jump and shoot) and the D-Pad.
Hopefully it's out this year.
Another great thing that will more than likely come from this is classic Nintendo characters in 2D. I know Mega Man has nothing to do with Nintendo, but you got to think that Nintendo made sure that a game like this made it's way to Wiiware. Combine that with a new 2D Wario Land game out in September and I'd be surprised if we don't see a 2D Mario or Metroid on Wiiware by the end of next year.
