Picks For Cash
Hey people...
I need about $3M in cap. I have been slapped in the face with the idea that draft picks wont do. If you have extra cap, let me know what it would take to get that much, and we'll see if it's worth it.
Also will consider moving AHLers or ECHLers for cash as well.

Ha ha, I wouldn't even give you 3 million for a first round pick that I projected to be in the top 15, let alone that junk.

Yeah, cap space has become extremely valuable in the league this off-season and mirrors the NHL nicely. I'd be shocked if you find any takers.

You should say thanks for the reality check, and not allowing me to waste too much time in my own little world of dimentia.

Well, then... if anyone has cap, and wants to trade it to the Oilers... maybe they should get a hold of me... how's that sound?

That sounds a lot more realistic. Therapy is working!

Can you help me with my fear of abandonment so that I don't have to PM Jiri on a daily basis to get back into a Simmed Hockey League

Wait, so you wanted to move one 3rd round pick for $3M?

Yeah, you realize that a package of FOUR 3rd round picks sold DURING the draft for $300k right? LOL

You do realize that a) I didn't pay too much attention to the draft due to not having a team... b) everyone else other than Jiri and Droopydrew, who I fully expect both to jump in here and make a snide comment soon, has proven I need more to get cap?
I'll edit the first post... but if anyone has extra cap, I'm in somewhat of a need.

Nice catch.
I'll give GMs a better deal.
Instead of either a 3rd, 4th OR 5th in exchange for $3M... I'll give the GM all three for $1M

Pay pal me $50 and I'll take 4th and 5th round picks off your hands.

I'm starting to be glad there's no award for "worst thread" at the end of the season, then again... it would probably get me the cap I need...

Don't worry...if someone cuts you a cheque for $3 million for a pick they will almost certainly win the worst trade!

Wow the new Oilers GM, is starting off by looking like a ###### (you know like the real Edmonton GM).
