Default Best Local Produce

Calgary stores, who has freshest best local organic produce? Coop Safeway?
Local independent store? Ideal prob is farmers market.

What supplements does everyone use on regular basis? Eg. certain vitamins, minerals, omega oils, protein, carb, green powders? Could you recommend best brands, why you take them, also what effects you get?

Is there a pick-your-own strawberries place around anywhere around Calgary?

'Planet Organic' and 'Community Natural Foods' carry what they can of local produce. Also, I have started using 'Spud', an organic produce home delivery company, check them out at spud.ca.

Isn't the stuff from the Crossroads mainly stuff that is too mature for the big stores to take?

Not that there is anything wrong with that - the big stores want produce that can sit on their shelves for a few days, so it can't be ripe or they would throw too much away. I've just noticed that when I get stuff from the market that it needs to be eaten quicker. You can't leave the fruit in the bowl for more than a couple of days.
