I don't have any but I am getting one soon. A present from my buddy for standing up in his wedding.
There is a great place here in London! Haha! My friend works there and he's amazing. He does work for the movies as well. He did a ton of work for 300.

I got mine done at Eternal Image I think, i know they changed the name shortly after I got it done, I forget what it was called when I got it done.
had to book about a month in advance and they did a pretty good job. I just got text on my lower back. At the time the term "tramp stamp" hadn't been popularized or I may have gotten it on another spot.

It's still Eternal Image they just moved to across from the Harley dealership. I got mine done there but the waiting list right now is about 4-6 months.
I have four - a midget grim reaper eating a sandwich, a midget grim reaper with a scythe, the Flying Dog beer logo(Yes, it has a meaning, didn't just get it because I like the beer), and the badge that Lithuanian WWII volunteers wore.
The eyes on both grim reapers glow under a blacklight.
I have two Spike... if you're not opposed to trying out new artists, there's a tattoo parlour out in Vancouver called Fat City with some very good artists. I could hook you up with some one there... they do a really good job with the ink.
I have a 3/4 sleeve that I have about an hours worth of touchups on, that was about 20 hours.
I have a "where the wild things are" leg sleeve that is about a year and half in the making and about 3-4 hours from being done. So ankle to kneecap will be finished. I have several others that will most likely be covered by much larger sleeves, rib pieces you name it...
Annnnyyways.. Any place that is good will have a waiting list of several months at a minimum. I booked my sleeve last august. Didn't even start it until February..
Of course it all depends on what you want. Something simple? There will be more shops with less wait time. Something detailed and custom you're waiting several months to a couple years. My gf's tattoo artist is currently bookedup until 2011..
I understand that...just when I started getting ink, I could get a piece done every couple months if I wanted. This waiting a year thing sucks for those of us who crave it
I am neither cool nor edgy, so the place I recommend is the loonie tattoo vending machine by the doors of my local supermarket. They come in a little plastic bubble and require a little bit of water applied to the skin. They're good for a couple of days I hear.

That might be cool...other then the Vancouver part lol...traveling for ink rocks!!!
One on each shoulder, one on each forearm and one on my right calf.
I got the first 3 in Lethbridge in a guy's basement with a homemade gun (made out of an electric shaver - I bought my own needles). They still look pretty good (they're about 15 years old now). They don't look like homemade jail tattoos either. They were done by an actual tattoo artist (before he was setup with pro gear).
The other 2 were done professionally in Lethbridge, but I can't remember the name of the place.
One place to NOT GO! is To The Point..my son and I got tattoo's there and they were not good, and very overpriced. Calgary is extremely expensive for tattoos though. I got one on Van Island for half the price and its nice. I heard Eternal Image is excellent, but they aren't called that anymore I don't think. I did get one done there once, but it was by a visiting artist from Seattle that was here for the tattoo convention..but have heard good things about that place's regular artists, and of course the Smiling Buddha. I have 3 with plans for one more. Maybe 2. OH it's so addicting!!!!
I had mine done at Bushido in Calgary. Its quite a long phrase my grandpa told me before he died when I was 14 and have never forgotten it. I translated it into latin When I was at the UofA and unless I am at the beach no one sees it or knows about it.
I found Bushido to be a very professional operation. Prices arent the cheapest but in that buisness you dont want to be Wal-Marting it IMO.

Couldn't agree with this more. There are tons of good places in calgary. I got mine from a place in southland center, I can't remember the name off the top of my head but it was really good.
