Gone are the days where you'd scrap it out mano-a-mano and then go on your way. Now kids gotta worry about the friends jumping in at the very least or weapons being pulled at worst.

Weekly? What'd you do go to a girls school miss? Don't like what I said, wanna fight about it.
In our school it was like main event boxing. There was a undercard at lunch, usually a spontaneus fight between two mouth breathers who ended up showing off the latest in slapfoo, and then crying on their way to the Principles office.
After school was the main event, this was usually to settle some grudge that had been building for days, the day of the fight it was like a wrestling match with confrontations in the hallway, outside of the bathroom and the lunch room, that always ended with "I'll see you after school in the part across the street"
Then after school the crowds would gather, there would be the two fighters and friends eyeing each other to make sure that there was no jumping. There was a certain code of honor too.
No kicking the guy when he was down. Only sissy's go for the privates, and no help from the outside. Other then that everything goes and you fought until you couldn't fight anymore.
After that the feud was over, the fighters didn't really want to fight each other anymore and would either gain a grudging respect, or they would avoid each other like the plague. But somehow they always ended up drunk at the after grad acting like they were best friends in the whole world.
With the swarming, and knifings and crap that goes on today. Kids aren't tough, they're cowards and losers.
