BRUINS FANS MAKE QUICK ROAD TRIP

Boston (AP) - Wednesday nights game vs. The Islanders was special for approximately 16 300 Bruins fans. In a move to show solidarity to the Bruins and against the CPHLFA, Bruins fans took planes, trains and automobiles to New York to take in the heartbreaking loss to the anemic Islanders.

Wednesday nights attendance was recorded as 16297 (http://www.calgarypuck.com/cphl/pages/scor...es/12-15-04.htm). Fans from all over the Boston area did what they could to show the CPHLFA what real fans will do to see their team.

"Attendance to most games is in and around the 16-20 range. It was great to see all the Beantowners make the trip. We just wish we could have sent them home with a win," said Bruins GM KevanGuy.

CPHLFA representatives were unavailable for comment after the game.

Its a good thing the Bruin fans showed up at the arena or the arena would have been empty because the Islanders have NO FANS!! :P

The CPHLFA is trying to figure out how Bruins fans going on the road to support their team is going against the CPHLFA.

Said CPHLFA President and CNO calf "Travelling hundreds of kilometers shows exactly what true fans of the CPHL do, and we commend the fans of the Bruins organization for what they are doing". calf continued "the CPHLFA is here to represent all fans for when disputes arise. Obviously the Bruins fans are very happy with their team and the job KevanGuy is doing. Should Mr Guy upset the fans in any way, the FA can represent the fans so they can be heard, when and if that time comes. However, it appears we are not needed in Boston at this time. The CPHLFA wishes the Bruins fans the best of luck the rest of the way."

VP of External Relations, No I.D., was spotted by members of the local media in Calgary outside the Hooters ( :boh: ) and had these comments: "Our association is so new that it's going to be a matter of time before most GM's in this league really understand what we are here for. All we want is to help the game. Any comments suggesting otherwise just simply need to be ignored, as time will clear any and all doubts as to our intentions. Having said that, there are a couple GM's who have crossed the line and this is just another example of that. This is clearly another, in a series of already growing attempts by the Bruins GM to break our association. We will not be broke. He doesn't seem to understand, there is only four of us and it's hard to break up a tight-knit group like that. As time goes on though, I'm sure many of his comments will be retracted and fan relation between the Boston club and the CPHLFA will continue to grow."
