BRUINS FANS MAKE QUICK ROAD TRIP
Boston (AP) - Wednesday nights game vs. The Islanders was special for approximately 16 300 Bruins fans. In a move to show solidarity to the Bruins and against the CPHLFA, Bruins fans took planes, trains and automobiles to New York to take in the heartbreaking loss to the anemic Islanders.
Wednesday nights attendance was recorded as 16297 (
http://www.calgarypuck.com/cphl/pages/scor...es/12-15-04.htm). Fans from all over the Boston area did what they could to show the CPHLFA what real fans will do to see their team.
"Attendance to most games is in and around the 16-20 range. It was great to see all the Beantowners make the trip. We just wish we could have sent them home with a win," said Bruins GM KevanGuy.
CPHLFA representatives were unavailable for comment after the game.
