Recurring dreams
I keep dreaming about the same person all the time. Just a person I went to school with, but this person is in my dreams at least twice a week. I haven't even talked to the person for 15 years! anyone know anything about dreams? Why do I keep dreaming about his person? Also, I have this one nightmare that I have had since I was in grade 6, and I have it a few times a year still!

Yeah, I have this re-occuring dream where I'm in a threesome with Hillary Duff and Dame Judith Dench, and then Sigmund freud burst into the room and throws a banana on the bed, mutters about sometimes a "Banana is just a banana", then he yells "Lets do this thing and starts taking off his shirt"
What does it all mean?

That's mine as well. I am late for an exam or a presentation or something and I have not studied or prepared anything. I always wake up and for a split second think I am back in school and that it may have happened. It's probably from all those times where I skipped a lot of classes and then realized I had a midterm coming up and I had to rush out and buy the textbooks and cram something fierce to get through everything before the exam. It does seem like a common dream though, I know several people that have it or something similar. School seems to have scarred a lot of people.
The other one I have constantly is about when I had to put my old doggie down. I am back in the room with him and the vet. I start crying and then I wake up and I am crying. It's very disturbing.
As for the original poster, did you have a fight or something with that person, or some unfinished business perhaps? It's odd when someone you haven't seen or heard from in awhile ends up in your dreams. I always assumed it was because something happened and you haven't gotten over it or you wanted to tell them something, etc.

I often have a variation of this one: I dream that I have to write an exam but suddenly realize I haven't attended a single class all semester. Sometimes it's a high school exam, other times it's university (note that I completed my degree six years ago, so I have no idea why I still sometimes dream I'm a student).
The other dream I sometimes have, which I understand is fairly common (I'm sure someone will reply, "I get that one too!") is that I gradually lose all my teeth. It starts out with one tooth somehow becoming loose, and as I wiggle it around, my other teeth also become loose and eventually they all fall out.

Sorry, but that just won't cut it. You can't start a thread about what your dream means, then decide you don't want to dish out the details.

I have the exam dream all the time but not only am I not prepared for the exam, I can't even find the classroom.
I have another one where I dream that my pyjama-shirt is like glued to my stomach and more than once I've woken up and it actually is. Creepy.

I was just thinking about this the other night.
For years, I have a dream that I'm somewhere in Calgary, usually on the opposite side of town. I then realize that I rode my bike there and that I have to ride my bike back home and that it'll take hours because it is so far.
The strange thing is, I've not rode a bike for years.

This thread just got 100x more awesome
I often get school-type dreams. Usually it's that I'm really late for an exam or something similar.

Been a huge Spider-Man fan my whole life. After the movie came out I started having dreams about webslinging.
Its wicked because I feel everything. Gravity, G-forces, the sensation of the web shooting out of my wrist. Its freakin' awesome!
Good thing I haven't had to fight anyone yet! But fyi, webslinging is wicked!
