Default Walk for MS this weekend

Hello Everyone,

My family will be participating in the Super Cities WALK for MS this year. We started doing this walk 2 years ago and this year we have one more reason to do it as one of our close friends was just diagnosed with the disease 8 months ago. I sent this to my friends and co-workers and thought I would try to get a few more from the good people on CP. If you do choose to donate online put CP beside your name so I can thank you.

Please visit my personal fundraising page (https://msofs.mssociety.ca/2008Walk/...962&L=2&GC=ORS) to make a donation online. Secure online donations can be made by VISA, Master Card or American Express. An electronic tax receipt for your donation will be sent to you by e-mail (Always seems to go into spam filters so check there).

In addition to funding research to find a cure, the MS Society of Canada provides support and services to help those living with this disease, their families and caregivers. Click on the following link if you want to learn more about MS. http://www.mssociety.ca/en/information/default.htm

Thank you for your support.

My grandmother died from MS. Great cause. If I hadn't already donated I would send some your way.

A former co-worker of mine was diagnosed with it a couple of months ago. She went completely numb and had no feeling or control of one whole side of her body. After pretty much living @ Foothills hospital going through crazy rehab for 8 weeks she is back to normal (or what constitutes normal for her I should say!!!) She's only 24 years old and is hoping that she won't have to go through a relapse, so she's walking in the event... She'll get my $!!!

Thanks for the donations that I have received. Hopefully we can keep bumping this for the next few days and get a few more donations. I don't care if the donations come to me or remind you to donate to someone else that you know is doing the walk instead. I just want to help raise awareness and get the word out there. It is amazing how many people know someone with MS.
