Anyone ever skate on synthetic ice?

I'm considering outfitting my basement or garage with one of these new synthetic ice products out there, but am looking for any testimonials first.

In particular, I'm looking at: syntheticiceusa.com

Don't have it but was over at my buddy's neighbors the other night to see it and it is pretty cool... His kid looked like he was on ice, turning, stopping etc. I guess you need to sharpen your skates after around every three times on it or something like - dulls the pretty fast. The stuff that comes off of it is like a fine powder.
