Default tattoos

Anybody else completely sick of tattoos? No matter what somebody gets a tattoo of, I find myself hating it and thinking it looks stupid. Their inevitable explanation of why it is special/personal/unique to them is also a nauseating conversation I'm sick of having.

I have a tattoo myself, but I'm getting it removed. I've had one treatment already and holy crap the laser hurts way more than the tattoo needle. But yeah, tattoos are mass gay dude.

I can't believe how many stupid chicks I know seem to think getting a tattoo every month is a good idea. Ugh I think of all the stupid sh1t I've seen people get. A bunch of my buddies all went thru a fad where they all got their last names tattooed on their backs like a jersey.

Dess, what tattoo did you get, which you are now getting removed?
I have 2, plan on getting more.
Love tats, have no problem with them what so ever.

I don't mind chicks with tats. In fact, they're the best kind... If you aim for their tats when you're punching them, nobody can see the bruise.

Tattoos are fine. I don't judge a person too heavily based on tattoos either way. They might be of great personal significance to the person. They might be the result of a heavy night or a decision made on a whim.

In any case, they're a relfection of who the person is/ was at the time of tattooage. They will remind the person of that time in his/her life. Usually they look fine. So what's the big deal?

Except for face tattoos. Every time I see a face tattoo, it's on a face belonging to a homeless person.

If you get a face tattoo you will lose your job and your house, guaranteed.

It's not rebellious if everyone else has one.

Followed closely by tattoos on the neck. If you have tattoos on your neck, you may not lose your job and house, but you are really limiting what that job is going to be, and determining what that house is going to look like.

I saw a guy recently with a cartoon bulldog tattooed on his neck.

What could possibly motivate someone to tattoo a bulldog on their neck?

You know, if you really like bulldogs, you had a bulldog when you were a kid, you played for the Bulldogs rugby team or you just like the picture of the bulldog, put it on your back or put it on your arm or even on the back of your leg. Don't put it in on your neck. Cuz for the rest of you life, every single person you meet is going to be saying "nice to meet you" but thinking "why in the hell does this guy have a bulldog on his neck?"

The only reasonable explanations I could think of is he's either a ridiculously patriotic British guy, or it's got something to do with white power. Both reasons probably worse than "I just liked the picture".
