Not only is that album cover real, I had that album back in the day. (Or, at least, it was handed down to me.)
John Hall, the guy in the middle, is now a member of the US House of Representatives. He had a memorable appearance on the Colbert Report.

Ha ha, I had the same idea. But how did you copy the picture to use it as an avatar? I right clicked on one of the album covers and it didn't give me the option to copy the picture.
