Default Any good Rogers Video (or any video stores) locations?

So... Since I bought my PS3 a few months back, I've re-discovered the art of watching an actual DVD (instead of an "aquired" divx file). The PS3 (like any Blu-Ray player) upscales normal DVDs to almost Hi-Def quality... it actually does it so well, that it makes rewatching movies I've seen a dozen times fun again!

Anyway, the point... The two Rogers Video stores by my place have an incredibly lousy selection... does anyone have a favourite video store with awesome selection that has Blu-Ray movies as well? I'd prefer another Rogers location, but any store will suffice.

I know they're generally disliked 'round these parts, but I'm going to give zip.ca a try this weekend. In the past few months I've gotten the raw end of a screw job from Blockbuster while Rogers on the other hand annoys me with their one day rentals on new releases.

I like the Roger's Video on Centre Street (between 16th and 20th ave somewhere), but the only other video stores I've really gone to in the past few years are in small towns that would make any store in Calgary seem like a movie watchers dream.

Movie Gallery and VHQ have better BD selections than Rogers or Blockbuster.

Awesome, thanks for the tip! I just went to the VHQ by my house, and they have at least double the number of Blu-Rays as the two Rogers stores do.

...and, yeah, I've been thinking about the Zip.ca thing for a bit too. I might give them a shot...

I never find anything worth watching in any Rogers or Blockbusters.

The only store I've ever liked was Casablanca Video.

Yeah, I've heard a lot of good things about Casablanca... but it's on the other side of the city from me. It would be an hour's drive there and back...

One of these days, I'm going to make the trek though.
