That's a whole ton of drama and I could only understand about half of what you were saying, but your father is right. Have your wife apply for EI, polish up her resumé, start looking for a new job, then get on with your lives.
We don't need to become a sue-happy nation like our Southern neighbours.

I have vague recollections of you posting a drama situation similar to this a couple of months ago. Of course, I did have a dream that I had an older brother once. Two days later, I found out I had an older brother.

Don't worry, he IS your Southern neighbor.

I guess the only good thing you'll be getting out of this is knowing that Chrissy's gonna get it when Kevin knocks her up and leaves her. Wow, that Kevin guy sure is a character, that's for sure. If I were you, I'd be spreading rumours about him too. Might as well. And eye for an eye. Petty? Probably, but I guess I'm just a petty person lol.

Woah. Sorry. I have no advice.
All I can ask is what kind of dancing?

Me too, I even kept checking the date on the original post, thinking this was maybe an old thread just being revisited. But nope.
I've seen this story before though...

I wouldn't sue.
Sucks big time that your wife was fired, but they are free to choose who they'd like working for them. If their is hostility between your wife and "Chrissy", they can't be having it, and one of them has to go.

I think your wife getting fired is the least of your problems if you are posting stuff like this on the internet:

I editted my post to alter the "quoted" section. Upon reflection I felt it best not to repeat it.
Link to real persons' myspace page removed at nickerjones request.

that would be great EXCEPT he wont leave...... Her family brings in millions from the show... she has a trust fund , i know because he made comment about being excited that it opens in sept. Also before the hooked up he told me he wanted to get her in bed and then he would be set lol
and 4X4 yes it is the same situation i believe.... but now it has resulted in my wife losing her job for no reason. They gave her an excuse of Your relationship with employer isnt what it used to be , dont come back tomorrow...
If she could just go down the street and replace the $875 she was getting paid a week it wouldnt matter...... but in the middle of show season there isnt a need for dancers until christmas rehearsals

and for the record, i see both sides of this story.... im not one to sue to make money but this isnt the first time it has happened to someone ... as a matter of fact she would make jokes when it happened to other people b4.....
just sucks when people dont care about other people lives getting ruined
i wish there was a way to make it stop happening to people in the future

I'm leaning towards greed, but if you can give a good answer to my question, I might think otherwise.
What do you hope to get from suing for wrongful termination? If you are simply wanting your wife to get her job back, then good on ya... but does she even want it back? It will never be the same again. Now, if she has received her up to date paycheques and more money is what you are looking for, then sadly I'm on the greed boat. Turn around and focus on better opportunities elsewhere.
