Hijackers have released three more of the 26 hostages they are holding after seizing a bus in an Athens suburb, bringing the total freed to 10.
The two gunmen -- believed to be Albanian -- are strapped with explosives and have fired on police at least four times during the standoff, police said Wednesday.
The hijackers are demanding a driver to take them to Athens airport and a flight to Russia. Some media reports have said they are demanding a ransom of $1 million and a plane to leave the country.
