OK, here's what I don't understand.
All these people p*ssing and moaning about lieing, friendship and all this stuff. What the heck? Do they not realize that this is all part of the game? All these people need to get off their high horse and realize that when it came down to brass tacks they were eventually going to have to betray someone from their so-called alliance. This is the whiniest bunch of contestants that I can recall.
Lame.

Chris was great
When he voted off Eliza, she turned and gave him the stare down, and he simply shrugged. My favorite survivor winner of all time.
The jury is always so bitter, they forget what they came there for.

My biggest concern was that the wrong person was going to lose because of personal feelings. Its happened in the past with Tina winning.
Its a stupid way to run things because the guy or girl that played the game is actually handicapped because you have to screw people over
And what the hell was with Eliza demanding and apology. Please grow up
All of these idiots who talk about it being important to keep thier honesty and not lose themselves.
Its one Miillllyion dollars, I'd run over your mother for that

When all these players decide to join up, it's for the chance of winning a million dollars.
When they're on the jury, looking at the final two and they're not one of them, all of a sudden it's about truth and integrity.
The right person won.......he was almost gone the first episode.
Good on him.
BTW, I thought the last 3-4 episodes were pretty interesting......let's hope CBS mixes it up as much as they say they will for the next one........20 people next time, major changes in the first 10 minutes........I guess we'll see.

My guess for next time is something like 4 tribes of 5. They have promised to mix thing up in the past and havent really delivered. I hope for the 10th one they really do change things up a bit.
I think they were pretty lucky that Scout didnt win this one. Someone as physically enept as her winning Survivor would be a bit of a joke in my mind.

I was thinking the same thing, 5 tribes and they have a competition right away. The losing trible goes home..all of them, right off the bat. Bringing it down to 16 people, which is the usual starting amount.

Chris played it great.
I thought he was going to be the first person voted off and he ended up winning it.
As soon as he was the last guy left with six women you could see he was in a position of power as the swing vote between the factions and he kept himself right in that position the rest of the way, like staying on the crest of the wave indefinitely while surfing, a constant balancing but very well done.
I kept thinking he had the cunning of the economically desperate trailer park trash!! Even his wilting to Eliza's demand for an apology was hilarious for its insincerity, although he did genuinely feel bad about the Julie betrayal.
It never ceases to amaze me people would be bitter they had been lied to. That should be the least surprising thing from the moment their feet hit the beach.

Agreed Cow....The minute the girls gave him the opportunity to get his foot in the crack of the door he took it and never removed that foot.
I was very surprised at the way Sarge presented himself at the end...I thought he would be the most level headed, but after hearing his stupid comments you knew why he never made it to the final 2.
Eliza was just lucky....she made it to the final 4 in spite of herself, and it showed why with her idiotic demand for apologies. Your 100% right Mr Cow...once you hit the sand and surf its ALL about the game, and I would tell anyone that had ears that I would promise on my "sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, grave....just to win....and much much more.
Dumb arses.
way to go Chris!

Chris has to be one of the greatest Survivors ever with the odds he overcame. After his inept first challenge, I had him pencilled in as the first to go. Facing insurmountable odds and a "strong" women's alliance, he somehow pulled it off. He got stronger as the game went on, winning the last few immunity challenges. Twila did well and may have won had she not made her stupid "promise" on her son. Really happy the useless Scout didn't win this.
It never ceases to amaze me how whiny people get in this game, though. "He lied, he cheated......" Boo fricken hoo. Outwit, outlast, outplay. By any means necessary. They all know that before it starts.
I hope that they do an all women's and all men's Survivor just to avoid all this battle of the sexes crap. Until Chris started pulling some strings, this Survivor was pretty darm dull.

The next twist for Survivor should be teams of two playing instead of individuals, like Amazing Race. It would create an interesting dynamic. What happens when each member of the team has pledged their loyalty (and team vote) to a different team?

the only thing that can save survivor is if they move the show to different locations instead of staying in one place and boring the crap out of viewers. Oh wait amazing race does that already. I guess Survivors toast.

What are you talking about? They change locations all the time. The only time they used the same location twice was for Survivor All-stars

They should do Survivor Nunavut, where the mosquitos are the size of a loonie and the 22 hrs of sunlight drives people insane.
Now that would be sweet.
