Back in Calgary to watch it, but normally would be interested too. Plus, I would actually see what some of you regulars look like in real life...

Sounds good, my last final exam of the semester ends at 8pm tonight, just as the game starts, I may make an appearance. Also just thought I'd mention that I go to the UofA, and I went to Hudson's on campus there after class last night with a few people from class, and the entire bottom floor was nothin but red jerseys. I was shocked! Even our waitress was from Lake Bonavista.

Is it still in the same place, across the street from the Hut?

After hearin back from some buddies, sounds like I won't be able to go to BP's on Whyte, as a few of us are just gonna stay at Hudson's across from the U of A campus. I was just gonna say that if BP's is a dud, and you wanna hang out where theres lots of Flames fans, you should come on down(btw its not the Hudson's on Whyte, there's another one just across from the U of A campus, on the same street as the Earls). The UofA is just off Whyte so its very close from where you'll be.
I don't know how old you guys are, but if you can handle a primarily 20-something college crowd, then you should come on down. As I mentioned earlier, downstairs and around the corner last night was a virtual sea of red, and even our waitress was from Calgary(and nuthin to sneeze at either). Don't know what itll be like tonight, but I'd imagine the same. We just need more of us there so we can convince the stupid Oiler fans that run the place to actually TURN ON THE SOUND this time . Watchin playoff hockey when all you can hear is Green Day isn't quite my idea of good playoff atmosphere...
I'm done my final at 8pm so Ill be getting there a little late, probably halfway through the 1st. But I'll either be wearin a red 03-07 era Phaneuf jersey, or a white '89 Nieuwendyk jersey. I'm not sure what Im feeling today...
Maybe we'll see ya there!

Because you touch yourself at night.
Back on topic.....Swapping to Hudsons on Campus is a possibility, but BPs will have sound for the game for the game and is closer to my place.

Head down to BPs or Hudsons? not sure who you were replying to.
For those interested in coming i will be the tall guy with a full beard wearing a vintage red Nieuwendyk jersey.

Nice, I've got the white Nieuwy...except I'll be the short guy with the starting remnants of a beard. We're the original odd couple!
btw you sure about the sound? I havent been there for playoffs before, but we watched a couple Flames regular season games there and asked for sound, and they straight up told us no unless its Oilers.

I am relying on Phanuthier on that one. hopefully he sees this thread. Worst case Scenario, Squires put the sound on for me last night when i was there.

Guess that would help. I was talking about BPs. I'd kinda prefer BPs, but I'm sure we could make the trek to Hudson's. Either way.

Hoping to head down to see game 3, but I am definetly interested in meeting up with some flames fans here in Edmonton for other games. Could meet at the 2nd best bar in Canada which is Average Joe's in Sherwood Park. I'll probably be there for a lot of the games.

Hey Sainters I was at Hudsons on campus last night too, not bad. Wings+playoff hockey is a good time.

I remember it being vaguely low? Its not a party place for Flames games. I'll report back after tonight, I'll be there. Hudsons could work too, I usually just don't go there cause I'm cheap.

I am open to suggestions as long as they are walking distance from Whyte ave. Cheaper is better, but god created pre drinking for a reason.

BP's had light audio tonight, it was alright. Its definately not a loud and roudy place though, but I'm usually there to watch the game and not go to a party.
