Manchester United and Liverpool to play in Calgary

So I've been informed by a friend who has been a part of the calgary soccer scene for years that Machester United and Liverpool will be sending their Masters players (those over 35) to face local all-stars in a round-robbin tournament on January 23rd. It will be held in the Saddledome I believe, and you should hear some more ticketing info about it soon....

Playing mini matches against 2 over 35 teams from Calgary. (one of my former coaches is the assistant coach)

Even those who follow soccer somewhat probably don't recognize Manchester or Liverpools players, unless they're also over 30.

true, but if people ever hope to see the real guys come in a friendly, they better start supporting this event. I'd love to go if i was in town.
